Can you make the page sing?
Then I want to feature you!
All you have to do is send me an email at alexaliteration@gmail.com with the following information and stuff:
- The URL of your blog or website.
- A short bio. Explain why you write, what inspires you, interesting things about you, how long you've been writing, where you like to write, etc. etc. etc. The more you tell me, the more I can put in your feature. Try to keep it concise, though. The main focus should be your work.
- Your poems, short story, and/or art. Try to choose pieces that best reflect how you write and your particular style. I'd prefer to limit entries to one or two items, so your options include:
- 1 short story (of a reasonable length. Try to keep it to under 5000 words or so, unless I say otherwise).
- 2 poems
- 2 pictures/drawings/paintings (attach pictures to the email as a .png or.gif)
- 1 poem and an accompanying picture (they don't necessarily have to be related to each other, though)
- An explanation of your piece(s): How did you get the idea for the poem or story? What inspired you? Is there anything interesting about it that isn't apparent at first glance?
Features will typically be posted on the Thursday after submission.
